Delerium
Side-project of Front Line Assembly members Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, formed 1986. Originally releasing voiceless industrial soundscapes with militant drumming, Delerium gained wide recognition with a shift towards ethnic electronica and New Age influences in a similar manner to [a=Enigma] (of "Sadeness" fame) but with less Gregorian chanting. This period created their chart-topping single "Silence" (feat. [a=Sarah McLachlan]), which garnered significant attention after being remixed by various trance acts. Delerium have operated mainly as an electro pop band since then, featuring many famous female and male vocalists.
